I graduated with Distinction from Indiana University Bloomington, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business with a major in Marketing from the Kelley School of Business and a minor in Sports Marketing and Management from the School of Public Health.
During my time at Indiana, I developed a strong foundation in digital and social media strategy, content marketing, web design, and brand management. I was also selected to participate in the Sports Industry Workshop through the Kelley School of Business, which allowed me to expand my network and build meaningful connections across the sports industry.
I had the opportunity to work as a Marketing Intern at the Big Ten Network in Chicago, IL. Collaborating with multiple departments, I helped create marketing and promotional materials for upcoming initiatives and assisted with event activations such as the BTN Big10K and Big Ten Media Days.
Additionally, I also worked with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Digital Operations team, where I managed and published content across the team’s social and digital platforms. I supported game-day coverage, content planning, and community engagement initiatives. I tracked content performance, analyzed engagement trends, and provided actionable insights that guided social strategy and marketing campaigns.
My work experience begins with my background in UX and website design. I have been designing websites for clients since 2018, enhancing customers' overall user experience as well as increasing business for these companies. Additionally, within one of my courses at Indiana University, I was a client manager for a non-profit in Indianapolis and enhanced my knowledge on CMS via WordPress.
I was responsible for updating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ website with a variety of content, including news stories, videos, photo galleries, and team roster updates. I maintained existing pages to ensure accuracy and consistency across the site. A key part of my role was tracking analytics and performance metrics for all content I published, using these insights to optimize engagement and inform future updates. My most significant project was the creation of the celebration gallery series, which garnered 250,000 additional website views for the season.
In 2016, I founded a venture called HeyWhatDay which focuses on the celebration of daily national and international holidays. I am the Social Media Specialist for our Instagram and have spent the last eight years focusing on building a tight-knit community of those who share a common interest in celebrating holidays. Our social media accounts have over 15,000 followers and 50,000 posts, retweets and stories.
I managed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ social media presence across multiple platforms, including Instagram, Twitter/X, Facebook, Threads, and Snapchat. I contributed to content strategy by ideating content concepts and ensuring timely publication. I actively engaged with fans and monitored comments to maintain community interaction. A major part of my role was tracking analytics, including impressions, engagement, and follower growth, and using these insights to optimize social strategy and improve overall performance.
